Our 1st Contest

we've never take part in any contest of any sort regarding babies... selalu bila baca majalah mmg semangat nk masuk, tapi tangguh2 sampai la dateline..hahaha...typical la kan...alasan busy mcm biasa.. tp this time, tetiba je rasa nak take part, kebetulan sbb gambar pon ada depan mata, no long-caption,slogan whatsoever yg buat menyampah nk masuk pertandingan...it's easy peasy.. anta gmbr letak caption(kalau nak) and you'll be in the run to win something for Mother's Day 2011...i have no idea what the prizes would be but i don't mind... wahh, mother's day is just around the corner.. :)))

Mai Little Helpers with mommy's new toys

Mai Handmade Reversible Sling

i am a sling fan... i love two-way bags..sling and shoulder carry...and lately, with the kids and hand full of luggage,sling bag is a good alternative for handbags..my last bought bag was charles & keith sling..wanna make mai own version with the same design one day..

i bought this fabric and couldn't wait to use it

and last night,i managed to sew this... at first i followed a tote bag tutorial to make one..but i miscalculated the handle end up i made it as a sling(after 3times of jahit-tetas-jahit lagi dan tetas lagi)..but i'm happy with the result...it's just what i need right now.. dump eveything in it..love the fabric! japanese geisha motif on one side and bright flower motif on the other side.the best part is that it is reversible and washable...yerla,being a mother and my own nature yg suka bawa jajan,food n drinks anywhere i go..if it gets dirty,i can just toss it into the washing machine and it'll be good as new!

finally did it! modified version of the previous lunch bag for him... like i said, he wanted it in blue.. i think blue is kinda cute too...

i put in a tumbler holder so that the tumbler stand nicely and the drink inside won't spill

i wanted to sell these babies but i don't know how to put the price on it..some fabrics are just too expensive but really cute and some are cheap but the the design is poor and the quality is not really good...

i think the price will differs according to the fabric used...

which means sape suka barang cantek & berkualiti harganya pon 'cantek'

but how much are people willing to pay for this cute practical lunch bag?

p/s: my shoulders are aching ...

should get some rest now..2days straight sewing and no exercise...*sigh*

Rifqi is almost 1

i still remember how we celebrated rayyan's 1st birthday... there was no official party in malaysia because we're busy preparing to go to Japan.. you can read about it here. but we had fun celebrating his birthday @ Hard Rock Cafe Tokyo..all written here..

soon, my 2nd son is gonna turn 1... i still haven't made any plans for birthday.no excuses on that...maybe just a close invitation party for family and close friends...but again haven't discuss it yet.. and now i'm thinking, he grow so fast,don't you think?? 1year is over.. it was like yesterday that i babble about having no maid to help, no time to rest...he's not engaged that we have to do ECV and all.. God, it was all like yesterday... i miss him inside me kicking and lunging  :)

this week we're gonna balik kampung and celebrate qaseh's 3rd birthday...i'm thinking about celebrating rifqi early birthday together with qaseh... it's gonna be just us family but it's gonna be fun.haven't done birthday party kat kampung for a long time...last time was my 7th birthday kot..hehehe.. mak sure gonna enjoy it!

anyway, this is my little caliph who's gonna turn 1 soon!

I Made Mai own Lunch Bag

Alhamdulillah, finally i did it!!

i've always wanted my own lunch bag...  looked them in stores but they're all either not cute, too serius or pricey... so, other alternative is to make it maiself.. and i managed to finish it all tonight ...weeee!!

this size is just nice for my food container...can fit 2 tupperware..lepas ni tak payah la bawa bekal masuk dlm beg kertas/beg plastik/eco bag yg usually big size etc...beg kertas akan cpt lunyai dan akan yabai kalau bawa lauk berkuah dan tumpah.. i can use this instead!! used interfacing ..insyaAllah, if i spill anything..i can still smile..though i doubt senang tumpah sbb saiz dia muat2 bekas and it is sturdy because of the interfacing..love it!

dah letak bento, boleh tutup kemas siap riben supaya sopan,xnmpk dlm..hehehe..

gonna make another one for emir...he always brings breakfast to work...gonna make some changes for his bento bag next..and i'm planning to use blue fabric as he refuse this pink-ish and childish pattern... well, it's cute isn't it? sesuai la utk org cute mcm saya...hehehe

Congratulations dear Elah!

i'm realllyyy realllyy happy for my best friend elah who just gave birth to a healthy cute baby boy last thursday... that day i met with echo, borak2 juga pasal bila elah nk bersalin, tup2 ptg tu dpt msg kata dah selamat...happy*happy*happy* hehehe

so, i'm so excited to make a diaper cake for her... it was a gift from IMFEEN. went to many places for the ingredients..penat en stpk melayan bini dia ke sana ke mari...hehehe.. and finally, i can say that i'm happy with the end result.. tido pkl 4pagi lagi.. but happy!

this is the cake for baby H.I.. tunggu papa dia gi register dulu baru official nama. :)
