sew in LoVe~

been up to sewing things lately since i put up mai little working space...it's a share room with emir's work space which of course mostly consist of boxes of car parts..heheh..we get to have half of the room each...i'm happy because i love this room soo soo much. cozier and lotsa windows to take my mind away while doing my work.

 

 

alhamdulillah, since i started sewing back, i'm getting more organized and productive. been eager to sew something new, learn new tricks and all.it feels like i'm falling back in love :)

 

and then, i started this passport holder wallet for maiself as now i have 4passports to take care of.. last trip with mil and emir's aunt, i have to hold a total of 6passport at one time and it was not cool to have to search all over my big bag to search for passports..that includes immigration papers and all.. i thought, how easy it would be if everything is in one place when you need it...and then, i came across this...am i not a happy lady? hehehe

 

 

then,rezeki Allah nk bagi, friends and family are ordering and i'm making bunch of them... i love chosing n mixing the fabrics for them... for those who're wondering, the prices are rm48 for 4pockets & rm52 for 6pockets.backed with interfacing to make it sturdy and completed with snap closure :)

 

 

 

 this one i made for maiself, but then i decided to give it as a surprise gift for my sister.. i think she can use this everytime she go to pasar :))

 

 

 

and then, i made this lovely dress for lil maryam

 

now, i'm making my way on a new project.. a quilt.. hope to be a big one..been making the blocks since last week..i want these heart blocks in mai 1st quilt but i don't know how to arrange them just yet.. been on that these few days and can't really decide.. i really need my cutting mat and omnigrid ruler..pleaseee~

 

 

 

that's it!

 

sewing is indeed therapeutic for me!

Mai very 1st skirt

been thinking about making mai own skirt for a long time..but i don't have the guts to cut a huge fabric ending up fail or not satisfied with the end result.plus, i don't have baby girl in the house to make as a model .. but last night(early morning actually.heheh) i made this petite skirt for a 2year old girl..her birthday was last month..so this is as her belated birthday gift..and a trial for me to make a my 1st move on making skirts.to be frank, i'm enjoying it! of course there's sticthing n unstiching process along the way but i'm loving it...maybe i should try getting myself into little girls stuff... and later find my way on making dresses for girls pulak...heheheh

i made this 3 tiered skirt using the jersey fabric my sister gave me sometime ago...this is my first time using this kind of fabric and really it is challenging but i find it easy to make the ruffle with jerseys...3tiered is harder that the normal simple skirt but it's worth the try.i have many more jerseys to get them into shape of something...but i have yet to find the ideas..

i mesure rayyan n rifqi's waist as the guideline to the little girl's waist..agak2 lebih kurang.hopefully she fits into it 

the best thing about jersey is that you don't have to serge :)

Tote Bag for telekung & Quran

i can't remember when they ordered... and i already told them that they can place order but i can't promise when it'll be done( xkan la sampai tahun depan kan..eh,mana tau! hehehe)..and now, i can finally smile looking at these babies...this is a new record! 2 totes in a night..again, NIGHT! not day..(tp satu tu dah siap potong lama..hik3)

this one is ordered by Odie..kawan sekampung emirr.. she wanted a tote for her mom's coming birthday to use as surau tote(letak telekung & quran).. i hope she likes the colour i chose.. ok tak untuk mak2? huhuh..

also a ribbon to cheer up the plain pink

inner layer is cotton with small flowers pattern

malas nk cari telekung(the babies are sleeping n they are very..very..sensitive to lights.sat lagi bukak mata,mak derang pulak kena teman tido..xsiap keje), so i put tuala wangi sbg demo :)

the 2nd one is pre-ordered by ayu... she requested a tote bag using cotton fabric inside out...because both are cottons so the tote is slightly lighter than the above one... she requested a tote for the same purpose..letak telekung kat ofis..

a different kind of ribbon..the ribbon is also handmade

when laid open..love the holder which suites each side..kes terlebih rajin!

n of course you can reverse it! with pocket outside :)
