Our new castle (^^)v @ Chiba

this picture above was taken on the 1st day we arrived in chiba... the weather was fine, saw the sky tree, drove thru rainbow bridge and saw the wide tokyo city... on the upper left picture, can you see the tokyo disney resort sign? our new home is near to disneyland.. 15mins by car.. selama ni kalau nk dtg disneyland mmg kena cari tpt stay sbb nk duduk dlm disneyland one whole day...skg nih, anytime bole jumpa abg mickey mouse.. skg ni rate one day pass 6200yen(rm250 lebey kurang) seorang.ingat nk beli one year pass tp bila check2 , sampai 80 000yen seorang for both disney sea n disneyland..kalau convert dlm rm3200camtu..kalau nk beli alamatnyer sebulan 2kali kena pergi baru berbaloi2..muak ler ngadap mickey mouse camtu..so, cancel!

at around 1230pm we reached our new home at ichikawa..it's an apartment kind of house.. located on the 4th floor from total 6th floor.. we can actually see the sea from our balcony and also sky tree from the entrance door...malam2 mmg cantek nampak sky tree dgn lampu hiasnya... angin sepoi2 masuk dlm rumah, xde terasa panas sgt mungkin sbb dekat dgn laut..tak macam kat toyama kena bukak aircond.. kat sini, aircond xde, mentol lampu pon xde..cuma lampu dapur je disediakan. dengar cerita, mmg konsep macam tu kalau masuk rumah baru skg..tp nak cari lampu kat jepun, senang je..nak letak lampu pesen2 jurai2 pon boleh sbb soket dia almost semua boleh masuk... tu yang beriya ke ikea..tp last2, beli lampu simple2 je..huhuhuh..rumah ni ada 3bilik, kitchen n dining yg luas..suka dapur sbb ada tingkap, boleh sekodeng luar sambil2 masak..bawah apartment kami ada 24hour market..jual barang2 basah n barang2 dapur..kalau abis gula ke garam anytime bole turun n beli, hence nak beli ikan hari2 pon boleh..ada aje sale nya..i like!! another thing i love about this house, ada banyak pintu n tingkap..

rumah yang masih kosong..tunggu lori pakcik sakai sampai anta barang2..masa sampai tu, dah nampak lori pakcik sakai berlegar2 kat area rumah..mungkin depa cari rumah dulu..pkl 1lebey, depa call nk bawa masuk barang...kami tgk n tunjuk2 je..

 

lps barang2 dah masuk rumah, lepak2 kat rumah kepenatan jalan jauh..pkl 4 mcm tu, kami pon siap2 nk pergi jalan2 area myouden & gyoutoku..  berbuka puasa kat luar je..malam tu, sinsing lengan memunggah barang la kami..sampailah seminggu baru siap..eh, skg ni pon ada 1kotak lagi yg belum dipunggah..

right is soon to be Mai Sewing Room..but right now, jadi stor simpan boxes n kids stuff.. love mai new sewing table & the big white chair..tq emirr! beriya bawa mesin jahit sampai ke jepun, bukak2 kotak pedal takde, wayar pon tinggal.. seb baik ada jual kat sini.. i miss mai cutting board n yellow ruler..wish someone would be very nice to bring them back to me... cutting board kat jepun xbest..ukuran dalam cm n kecik n mahal.. huhuh..

Next destination!

remember in this entry i mentioned about a major change in August? yeap, it officially took place last saturday.

we moved! again :D

due to the company request, kami sekeluarga berpindah ke bandar lain. kali ini ke bandar besar bersebelahan tokyo iaitu Chiba.mula2 bila disuruh pindah, perasaan mmg bercampur-baur.. seronok, risau, berbelah-bahagi macam2 laa..tp memandangkan i'm a SAHM, why not? after all, it's just for a year( but the end date is not mention anywhere yet... hmmm). so, if it's for a year, it might be fun! i lovvveee my 6months stay in saitama last year and i'm definitely gonna love my stay in chiba with the company of the boys!!

so, emir started his obon holiday earlier than others since thursday last week, we packed everything in 1day..i'm too lazy to pack beforehand. well, i know Sakai guys will do most of the work.. not that hard as we don't have that many things.. come to think of it, i just got to stay in toyama for only 2months.. xsempat nk bosan, xsempat nk sayang...rasa macam persinggahan...

thursday 09.08.2012, buat makan2 untuk warga toyama.. budget masak untuk 40org.. malas nk masak kat surau, so we both masak kat rumah berdua.ini pertama kali masak banyak2..takut xsedap sbb puasa huhuh..tp alhamdulillah, semua habis licin..

sempat amek gambar ni je.. sbb masa ni tgh rehat separuh masa pertama...

lenguh tangan memotong macam2..gambar2 makanan dan tukang makan semua xsempat sbb sibuk makan dan berborak.. :) sangat2 seronok jamu org makan!!

boleh la gmbr ayam goreng ni buat kenangan :))

saturday 11.08.2012, time to leave 奥田町ハイツ(okuda machi haitsu) 202 and toyama

seb baik abg2 Sakai buat semua..sementara tunggu depa angkut barang2 masuk lori, kami main2 kat playground sblh rumah.. seronok betul pindah guna perkhidmatan camni, xyah sibuk2 berpeluh2 angkat barang..tau2 dah licin sume kena angkut



around 12pm we leave for our next destination...that is,Matsumoto :)) i was very excited to meet mai dear friend, yotte!!

we chose to drive using the old road rather than highway.. because of the distance n traffic..and most importantly the scenery, subhanallah..breathtaking!! that's why we love doraibu(driving) in japan..lotsa place to stop by.. especially here in nagano..green everywhere.. on our way, we saw people camping, picnic by the river and fishing... i just love it!!

we made a brief stop here at the Nagawado Dam..

and then, singgah beli tembikai..maklumlah, bila musim panas ni meriah dengan buah tembikai..puasa2 ni mmg terliur je bila nampak tembikai di kiri kanan jalan... nampak pokok epal2 yg sedang berbuah..nagano salah satu negeri yg banyak tanam epal..bila la bleh dpt pergi 'ringo gari' (apple picking)..teringin!!

 lps tu, atas suggestion tuan rumah, kami pon singgah sebentar di matsumoto castle..tak sempat masuk dlm sbb dah tutup pkl 530pm..posing dr luar je laa.. rayyan & rifqi dah pancit waktu ni..jalan pon xlarat dah..

bandar matsumoto sangat cantek..sekali masuk area dkt train station tu, macam kat tokyo..eccehh! banyak bangunan menarik, ada kouen(taman) yg besar... jatuh cinta dgn matsumoto sudah...

pkl 6 lebih, selamat lah kami sampai ke teratak puan yotte..rumah sgt cantek dan besar.. n tak dilupakan, terus menjenguk kebun sayurnya di belakang rumah..itu antara salah satu agenda pergi rumah puan yotte sbb geram tgk gambar2 IG beliau..hehehe..banyak dah menuntut ilmu perkebunan dan tips berguna..hahaha..
dayot is my aaj friend back in 2001, sampai lah sekarang.. dah lama xjumpa..kali terakhir jumpa lps job fair kat tokyo...one trivia about us, we share the same birthday!!n then later that day, we found out we even use the same casing for our 4s white iphone!! mmg un'sangka'rable..huhuhu

 malam tu, puan yotte jamu makan nasi lemak & ayam goreng berempah..mmg tip top sedap! rayyan makan siap bertambah.. n then, dapat berkenalan dengan anisah dan keluarga..nice to meet her.. tp xpuas lagi borak2!

and the next day sunday 12.08.2012, lepas sahur kami sambung lagi berborak..sampai lah tiba waktu untuk meneruskan perjalanan ke chiba... sebelum bertolak, puan yotte(kenapa rasa best panggil ko 'puan' yotte? huhuh) begitu baik hati bekalkan kami dengan sarapan nasi lemak untuk anak2 yg belum bangun dan juga hasil tanaman dari kebun comelnya... sangat seronok ok dapat fresh veggies n pokok lagi! (balik rumah makan puji xabis2..maniss n u can taste the freshness!!,seriously yotte!!)

amacam, ada gaya petani wanita berjaya kan??...hehehe.. pagi2 dah masuk kebun..alhamdulillah, murah rezeki puan yotte bagi pokok basil n tomato..pokok2 survive dlm kereta sampai ke chiba, masih sihat nampaknya..we'll see how puan mai jaga pokok pulak hehehe

syafi pon bangun awal tolong mama dia kat kebun :))

Mai 1st curtain

ingatkan senang la nak jahit langsir nih...sebenarnya, tidak semudah yang disangka..sampai sakit2 pinggang makcik tonggeng2 nak potong kain nih haa.. selalu deal dgn kain potongan kecik2 jer..bila kena potong kain langsir nih, payah rupanyer.ukuran besar..penat kena buat kira2..takut salah potong, maklumlah kainnyer bukan murah.sayang kalau tersilap.kain asal tak cukup, kena top up dgn kain lain...kat sini la kena kreatif sket. beli kain lain, tak sangka coraknyer ada motif dahan dan daun..so, i put the design upside down making it look like falling leaves sbb motif fabric utama adalah daun bertabur..reminds me of autumn in japan..owh, i love autumn soo much! eehehe.

alhamdulillah, setelah beberapa malam stay up...

i used a matching ribbon to attach the 2 different fabric design to ease the contra. the inner layer xjahit..beli kat ikea.. nice & cheap!

we have 5sliding doors..so, i wasn't sure to go with 4,5 or 6pieces of curtains.. i chose 5... jadiknyer yg tgh kena ikat solo..maybe next curtain i should go with 6pieces.add more flows

paling mencabar nk jahit tepi2 kain...kalau dibiarkan nnti berambu2.nak anta jahit tepi, xsempat...jadi,jahitlah manual satu2...

Mai Naked Kitchen is soon to be dressed!

i know that we, girls..eh, women ..hihihi.. especially married women are very fussy when it comes to our kitchen...well, at least those who love cooking will definitely have their own dream kitchen decorated like this and that, complete with accessories and design according to their comfort and taste... well, i do to. as soon as we bought our dream house, i've already dream about my own cooking space..what it would look like, what i want and where i want it to be... hehehe..yup,so much of a dreamer.hik3... who doesn't right?

anyway, some criteria that i want in my kitchen is that, it has to be in red.. black & red or white n red.. as much as i want everything in my house to be in purple & pink, i can't deny the fact that i'm living with 3musketeers..3 manly boys! they definitely won't agree with pink everywhere...hik3.but i can deal with it as long as my bedroom is in purple & pink..huhuhu...that part is done! back to the kitch cab story, i want my kitchen complete with an island table(senang nk potong2,buat kek ect), a mini bar table so that we can have breakfast in the kitchen & chitchat while cooking. of course with accessories to make things easier,smart compartments and nice lightning... and the list goes on la...

anyway, maybe some of you are wondering,'xkan xde kitchen cabinet lagi? bukan ke dah lama pindah?' hehehe.. yep you're right...we moved in last september and till now we don't have a complete kitch cab yet..we just made the table top without doors...melopongg  ternganga segala khazanah boleh nampak dr jauh..hihihi..maklumlah, masuk rumah byk mau pakai wang maa... and buying a landed house at our age,pastu baru jer mula keje setahun jagung with very small saving ain't gonna get us any nice kitch cab so early..we've to think about other priority things that needed money first such as lightning,plaster ceiling(nih my fil suruh dulukan sbb nnti kalau dah lama duduk baru nk wat,leceh nk kena bawa keluar barang n the plaster powder is bad for health.kalau dah jd ceiling tu idok ler bahya),painting, basic kitchen(dapur masak,periuk kuali, infact cawan pon xde tau...kena beli.hik3),electric applieances such as peti ais,mesin basuh, tv ect... haa... kpd sapa2 yg baru nak masuk rumah baru tu, baik menabung awal2,jgn jadi macam kami,sampai kering akaun sana sini...hik3...

so, now we're back to completing our dream kitchen..with a tight budget we've to settle on the main things first... no island, no mini bar but luckily i get my red doors... our table top is in black, so it's gonna be black & red concept.yeayy!!

"Home Sweet Home" it is...

sorry for the 'zero' update like i promised early yesterday.apparently, it really was a tight-scheduled day. no time to get into my blogging world. sempat menjengah blog orang jer... right now,the clock shows 11:55pm.both my heroes already sailing in their dreams...sweet dreams u two! still digging for ideas to write. lately, we're too busy with work and our new Home-Sweet-Home preparations. so,let's talk about our new HSH a bit.

This is soon to be our teratak.we bought it around Jun 2007 and alhamdulillah dapat kunci pada bulan februari 2009 seperti dijanjikan.

a lot need to be done...now, HSH is undergoing some renovation.kitchen is done.grill mmg dah pasang awal2.sekarang tgh buat plaster ceiling and wiring...just a minor one. my FIL yg beriya2 suruh buat before we move in.kalau ikut saya ni, xyah nk plaster2,sono mama de ii tomo.tp, sebagai anak menantu yg taat, patik turutkan saja laa... menurut kontraktor maybe boleh siap before puasa.lps dah siap tu,plan nak tukar warna cat dinding.. i'm excited about it but skg dah pening nk pilih warna pulak. bini nk kaler nih, laki nk kaler tu.. kita wat belang2 laaa...huhuh. utk warna, blom masuk meeting lagi..insyaAllah decision will be made after kedua2 pihak mencapai kata sepakat. as for the furniture and electric appliances... mmg sakit kepala n sakit poket. maklumlah, selama balik dr Jepun mmg terus duduk dgn in laws, barang2 rumah yg besar2 tu mmg xdelah...peti ais, mesin basuh bagai tu..kerusi meja pon sama laa..jadinyer, bila nk masuk rumah baru nih...huhuhu, lenguh segala sendi fikir.. tp alhamdulillah, peti ais, mesin basuh, tv,periuk nasi dah selamat kami beli.water filter luar & dalam rumah pulak sponsored by my beloved MIL.couch pon dah beli..isinyer bulu itik datte..hahahah...tp mmg kimochiii..langsir pon dah selamat beli masa Jusco Day aritu.sgt berbaloi2.. cuma rm180++ for 5sliding doors siap lining sekali..70% off. carpet idaman pon dah disambar semalam.ini pon selepas survey byk2 tpt..dr nilai 3 sampai la ke ikea...akhirnya IOI mall jd pilihan...huhuh..bought from Home Harmony.it's red and it's our dream carpet.ahahah.. segala mak nenek benda kecik2 yg penting tp blom nmpk lagi kepentingannya..kemudian nnti insyaAllah.bukan nk pindah masuk terus pon..pindah 'lepak2 style' .. absolutely no rushing.kalau boleh nk masuk barang sikit2 sebelum raya. maklumlah, bilik kami yg sekarang nih dah sendat dgn brg2 mommy especially. kotak2 yg bawa balik dr jepun 2tahun lps pon ada yg xbukak lagi due to space constraints.therefore,baju2 mommy dlm tu pon ada yg tak bukak lagi..sbb masa balik dr jepun tgh sarat pregnant with rayyan.baju yg petite sume sumbat dlm kotak sampai skg tak nampak bayang. nk bukak, daddy malas nk korek store room yg penuh barang tu..so,terkubur la baju2 mommy dah 2thn.uish3, 2 tahun dah?? no, we didn't plan to celebrate raya with new house this year... like i mentioned before mmg lepak2 jer nk masuk rumah baru..ala2, malas nk pindah. it's not easy moving to a new house although at the same time it is very2 tempting as well...with all brand new environment, the all-mine property, with more privacy and spaces for the 3 of us and soooo soo much more looking forward things to be listed. i'm visualising me in the kitchen cooking our meal,while rayyan running freely around the wide spacious living hall...and my emir watching his favourite channel on his new 42inch plasma screen... owhhh, how can we not be rushing?? because we're gonna miss a lot of things here too.especially me.i'm used to sharing things with my MIL..be it tudung,kasut,brooch..tak beshnyerr kalau pindah nnti.i bet for the first few weeks or months, we're gonna be going back and forth from our HSH n my in law's...just to get use to the new life. but then again, both home are just a few miles away,10-15mins by car is not that far rite?? ok,i'll post more pictures tomorrow,insyaAllah.it's hard to make these kind of promises these days.most of HSH pix are in the office's computer... got to get some beauty sleep now.another hectic day awaits me tomorrow. jya ne!!

last week,while doing some weekly household shopping...i came across this very much missed ice cream flavor...Macadamia Nuts by Haagen Dazs.it has been my favourite back in school days in Japan along with maccha,maple walnuts, and belgian chocholate..but, i love macadamia nuts the most..in case u all didn't know, Fukui only have one haagen dazs ice cream shop and it was just right across my apartment. every time i open the drapes at my balcony, my eyes would catch that haagen dazs sign..i remember those days, every friday they have a special offer, 7scoops for 500yen.that's around rm16(currency rate during that time) for 7different flavours...isn't it an awesome deal?indeed it was that we must make sure that we have it in weekly basis...kadang2 dah giri2 kedai nak tutup pkl 11 tu pon kami terjah jugak..kalau xmkn,rasa xsenang hati..there are times when i just can't wait for friday to come that i bought it in pints for 700yen..and have it while watching movies..sgt heaven..especially when it's snowy..i must say, eating ice cream while it was snowing outside is the best way to enjoy it.plus,the shop's big wide windows makes you feel like eating outside in the snow.. :D okay i'm bad at describing feelings..enough walking down that memorylane...

btw, while i was browsing in the jusco's big fridge for my favourite flavour..emirr came. i said that i just wanna see if they have my flavour..but mind you, the price was rm30.99 per pint.. kat jepun 700yen(rm28 kalau ikut rate skg).rasa mcm xberbaloi jer.. tp emirr nk belikan for me.. katanya hadiah anniversary kami couple 6years 17th april lps..hahah..i was blushing...i didn't think i'll get anything for that date...although, i have a special plan ahead for him on that..hehehe..and so, i got my macadamia nuts after long 'seluk' fridge tu..yeahh me!!

on sunday, mommy and daddy went out for a date..hihihi..watch movie for free at cineleisure damansara..yess..free bebeh!! you, who gimme free tickets,pliss gimme more!! i want to watch x-men wolverin this coming thursday...heheh.. btw, we dunno what to watch that day..most of the movies dah tgk..punyer la kaki wayang kan... last2, tgk 'The Uninvited'.. fyi, daddy is never a fan of horror movie..siap mengadu sakit jantung tgh2 org suspen dlm tu..siann..mommy ok lagi sbb tu hantu omputih..kalau hantu jepun or melayu.. takut jugak laa..sbb pernah melalui dan sedang melalui life tu..nnti lps tgk mesti terbayang2..masa kat jepun dulu,berani jer tgk cite pontianak harum s*ndal malam tu..sbb duduk kat jepun..tau pontianak tu mesti xsampai jepunnyer..kena naik flight..hahahah.kalau duk jepun tgk hantu jepun,siap laa..asek terbayang2 ada hantu dlm oshire laa..hantu dlm tub mandi la..nk turun tangga gi toilet pon minta teman woo..hahaha..err..paham ker?? xpahamm?? abaikan ..hehehe ..tp skg,selalu tgk keliwon dgn bibik kat umh..bibik temankan sbb daddy takot..hihihi.. nih masalah takut tp nk tgk..pandai je dia tayang keliwon tu mlm jumaat kan??

after that, we went to IKEA..made some survey..kabinet dapur..heheh.. this is my dream kitchen. i want it in red, can i? skg nih dah mula buat survey2 for furniture and main electric appliances...kunci rumah dah dapat..tp not fully finished yet..need some mending here and there after we made check up.. we're not planning to move in soon anyway.so,there's plenty of time to think.. buat sikit2 dulu...
